Texas customers claiming tax exempt status for orders shipped to a Texas address must furnish a signed copy of a Texas Sales and Use Tax or Resale Tax Exemption certificate. Merely furnishing a Sales and Use Tax Permit number does not satisfy the requirements of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts; we must have a signed copy of the appropriate certificate for our files.
