Model 55 Repeating Rifle

Streamlining the Model 1894 line - standardized and updated.

As with the Model 53, Winchester made the marketing and design decision to discontinue the Model 1894 in 1924 in its many variations. The Model 55 design modernized the 1894 in both takedown and solid frame style, introduced in 1924 and 1931, respectively. (The 1894 has continued in manufacture to this date, but with limited design styles.)

The Model 55 rifle was succeeded in 1933 by the Model 64 rifle. PGW also manufactures replacement stocks for the Model 64. Please see the Model 64 page for item selection.
