Marlin's post-WWI version of the Model 32, with slight changes to the receiver, lock, ejector, magazine tube, and carrier.
Serial numbers for this rifle appear to range from 782 to 10,938. You may also find A206 to A11,389 and D272 to D1,739. The Model 38 featured a special tang receiver sight manufactured by Lyman Gunsight Company; the sight is more rare than the rifle. PGW makes only the stock for this rifle.
