PGW's own precision-made mold, sized and shaped for historical accuracy and ease of fitting. You will find our stamp on the inside of each of these cast steel buttplates, which are drilled, polished, and blued by hand.

For the DIY guy, these cast buttplates are in the rough and ready for your drilling, polishing, and bluing or case coloring. You will need professional grade polishing wheels and drill press for finishing.

Blued Steel "S" Crescent Buttplate, Marlin

Fits the 1894 "S" Crescent Marlin rifle stock, also known as the "sporting carbine". Will not fit current or recent manufacture Marlin rifles.
