Model 64/64A Repeating Rifle

An updated Model 55 rifle, introduced in 1933.

Numbered along with Model 1894s, the Model 64 was first discontinued in 1957; about 66,783 were made in the original version. This model was reintroduced in 1972 with the designation of Model 64A, and was chambered in .30-30 only. It was discontinued one year later, in 1973, following a production run of only 8,251 units. Although the stocks for the early original Model 64 and the later Model 64A are very similar in appearance, they are not interchangeable.

PGW Inletting Black

Used for the perfect wood-to-metal fit.

That messy black stuff used by professional gunsmiths for precisely fitting wood to metal. This 1/2 ounce container will fit dozens of stocks and last for years when used sparingly, in accordance with PGW's Fit and Finishing Instructions. Supplied with a small brush and swab for application.

PGW Classic Oil Finish

An authentic early original type oil finish, will darken (but not redden) the walnut.

Formulated to closely match the appearance of early original Winchester oil finishes. Very easy to apply and maintain for a traditional, warm look. This two-ounce bottle will finish 6-8 sets of stocks. When applied properly, wood should be ready to wax in 1-2 days following application of oil finish.
