Model 30 and 30A

Originally part of a line called "Glenfield", Marlin offered a separate series of models with a less expensive cosmetic appearance but the same quality material and workmanship. Marlin has since dropped the use of the Glenfield name.

Marlin marketed the following lever action center-fire rifles under the Glenfield name:

  • Model 36G, from 1964-65
  • Model 30, from 1966-1972
  • Model 30A, from 1973-1983
  • Model 30GT, from 1979-1980
  • Model 30AS, in 1983
