Manufactured from 1921-1937. In 1931, a Model 39 was given free to every person who purchased four or more shared of preferred stock in the Marlin Firearms Company of New Haven. Not to be confused with the 39A; PGW makes stocks and forearms for both models. See information about 39A in the next listing.
